Central NM Electric Cooperative: Awarded in recognition of their work in deactivating an energized line to prevent electrocution of nesting Ferruginous Hawks, and then later removing the transformers and replacing them with a nest platform. Cameras were installed to monitor the nesting birds and chicks.  The nest has been active and successful each year since then.
