Annual Workshop: NMAP holds annual conferences aimed at training utilities companies in the issues concerning birds and power structures, particularly avian protection plans. The 6th Avian Electrocution & Collision Prevention Workshop was held February 27 - March 1, 2007 in Albuquerque, New Mexico and included an APLIC Short Course. Approximately 100 people attended, representing utilities, agencies, and companies from 7 states in the southwest.
